Get furniture that is within easy reach. Avoid dressers and shelves where your child will have to make use of a chair or climb on something to reach for an item. The ideal furniture height would just be about 2-3 inches taller than your child as this allows him to get something without straining his legs, body or climbing or stand on a chair.
